What is Tron (TRX)

Tron is a decentralized blockchain with the objective of connecting internet users directly to each other without a middle person to censor or block some of the information sent.

Founder

Tron started from Tron Foundation, a non profit organization from Singapore, founded by Justin Sun, who was recognized by Forbes Asia in its 30 Under 30 series for entrepreneurs.

Why Tron

Tron operating consensus is Delegated Proof of Stake (DpoS) to increase the efficiency of operation by increasing the capability of transaction at time and scalability. DPoS allows a handful of representatives selected among all stake-holding nodes, and are given the rights of bookkeeping.  

To assist developers, Tron has TRON Virtual Machine (TVM), software that develops from Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) which makes transferring Smart Contract from Ethereum to Tron possible and easy.

Tron Ecosystem consist of 3 level include:

- Storage Layer: secure data and history safely and sort data into groups too.

- Application Layer: for developer to run Dapp

- Core Layer: the main processor level

TRX Utility

Tron set itself a network for content creators to share their content online for users to directly consume content without going through a middle channel which can block or censor some of the contents. The content creators will receive TRX as the reward for their content. Other than rewards for content creators, TRX is the main currency used for transaction fees and staking on the network.

Roadmap and future of Tron

Recently Tron introduced BitTorrent Bridge which helps users to transfer TRX between Tron blockchain and Ethereum smoothly. This connection and communication between different blockchain is the very bright future of TRX users.
